The WordPress plugin “Widget Visibility Time Scheduler Pro” shows and hides widgets based on your desired months, days, hours and even minutes. With the version 6.0.0 it introduces a helpful and often requested option: clearing the cache automatically when the visibility status of the widget changes .
The “Clear Cache” feature clears the cache every time when the visibility status of a widget has changed. Clearing a cache is also known as to purge, to delete or to flush a cache.
Imagine if a cached page displays the widget and is not aware that the widget was hidden by the scheduler and is still delivering the visible widget to the visitor. That isn’t what you want, And you don’t want to manually clear the cache at every visibility status change of a widget, right?
Here is the solution: the “Clear Cache” feature prevents unwanted displayed widget (and unwanted hidden widets) by detecting the changed visibility status of the widget and clears the cache. So the cache can be filled up with new pages and the correct appeareance of the widget! Completely automatically.
You don’t need to clear the cache manually anymore at every widget visibility status change! A single click is sufficient to switch on this powerful feature.
These plugins are currently supported by “Widget Visibility Time Scheduler Pro”:
- Cache Enabler
- W3 Total Cache
Other well-known cache plugins such as WP Super Cache will be supported in the near future.
Edit on 2017-12-17: More cache plugins are supported!
